About Mo

ABOUT mo

Mo loves teaching English language and is passionate about education. She enjoys getting to know people from all around the world and learning about different cultures.

Mo is fully qualified and has taught over 6,500 online lessons to students of all ages. Before teaching, she was a support worker for young people with learning disabilities, focusing on developing communication skills.

Mo has a first-class chemistry degree and specialises in helping students who are studying science or working in a science-related industry. As an experienced proof-reader, she can also guide students with academic and scientific writing in English.

Mo’s many hobbies include cycling, running, walking her dog, listening to music, travelling and camping.

Mo’s dream in life is to have contentment by helping others and causing no harm.

How it Works

The first session is a free trial to familiarise the student with Mo’s teaching style and the online classroom.

Students must have access to a computer / tablet / Ipad with a microphone and webcam (inbuilt is fine). A link to the virtual classroom is provided before the lesson - no login or download required. Inside the virtual classroom video calling and an interactive whiteboard are used for complete communication.

Standard fees are £20 per one hour lesson. A PayPal invoice is emailed in advance with clear instructions for how to pay or BACs details can be provided if preferred.

Classes can be rearranged if sufficient notice is given prior to the scheduled lesson time. The full lesson price is charged if a student is absent.

Lessons are usually on a one-to-one basis. However, it is possible to have small groups of students at the same level. These are generally priced at the standard rate plus £10 per additional student.

Feedback and comments are sent after each lesson, along with follow-up ‘homework’ practice. Although this is not compulsory, frequent practice is the best way to improve!
